Catalina Yachts have been on my desired list for many, many years. Now that we own our 2006 C36, I continue to be a big admirer of the Catalina fleet and treasure our C36. Hence I the many paintings of this line! This too, is greatly enchanted by the C36/375IA Owners Association with our dedicated Commitee!

We were crew on a 42' Moody, 'Caribbean Blue,' bringing her from Darwin to Cairns.
I kept a sketch book; this is from that sketch book.

Lucky me I have many interests ... not only my family, but our lovely Catalina C36 "Fantastic Trio," plus watercolour painting ... combine them and you get these adventurous sketches and paintings.

Pittwater, our home port

Pittwater, our home port

Pittwater, NSW, Australia, our home port, is approximately 5 nm long and 1 nm wide. Year-round sailing and cruising grounds are easily reached from Pittwater. It is the home port for Team USA America's Cup-winning Skipper James Spithill.

From Pittwater it's an easy four-week, 1000-nm trip up to the famous Great Barrier Reef. A trip we have made on three occasions ... spending up to five months doing so.

Fantastic Trio does not race, but enjoys extensive cruising and some friendly racing.
