The Admiral Takes the Helm

Owner/Skipper, aka “The Admiral” takes the helm on a chilly Southern California day (believe it or not) of Cherimarie, a 1989 C-36, hull number 1015. Note the Rear Admiral, aka Simba, on the off watch.

East Coast Rendezvous 2005

Here are a few shots from the East coast Rendezvous in Newport, RI from Aug 5-7. It's really hard to capture the scope of this thing without renting an airplane.

What a great facility! Wide docks and rafted 4 abreast (two from each side) 15 C36's were present. You see Julandra, owned by Tech Editor for MkI directly in front of Magic III. To the left is Sea Pulse who has a cutter rig.

Three nice looking C36's lined up. Aldebaron had a window air conditioner hooked up in his hatch way. To keep his dog cool! It cost him $99 at Walmart.

Wind Angel came all the way down from Portsmouth Rhode Island.

Behind Wind Angel you see a slice of Magic III owned by yours truly, Bill Miller.

East Coast Rendezvous 2005 (5)

Here we see the real skipper of Breathless owned by MkII Tech Editor Tom Senator. Right behind with the green and blue towel is Julandra owned by MkI Tech Editor Tom Sokoloski. We had a lot of brain power concentrated in just a small area.

Tom Soko was good enough to help me get my Link 10 to work for the first time in two seasons. Thanks Tom.

A New Suit of Sails

Cherimarie is a 1989 Catalina 36 (#1015) debuting her new set of sails during the 2005 CRA Summer Beer Can Series on San Diego Bay.
