Spirit of Aloha, at anchor, Croker Island, Ontario

On July 21, 2008 we spent a night at anchor in Croker Island Harbor.

Croker Island is part of the Benjamin Island group, a well known destination for North Channel boaters.

Spirit of Aloha is a 1993 Catalina 36 Mark 1 1/2. She has some of the attributes of the Mark II (like the walk through transom) but it's design is different than the newer Mark II models.

The boat has an anchor from the bow as well as a line tied to a tree on shore. This is pretty common way to spend a few days in the North Channel.
