Yes, you can send image attachments (.png, .jpg or .jpeg only, please) as well as PDF files. The total size limit for the message is 1.6Mb so your attachments should not exceed 1.4Mb or so. If you exceed the limit your message will not be sent to the list.

Please keep in mind that some people download their e-mail on limited bandwidth, so if possible you should resize your images to medium-resolution jpegs of less than 100Kb each.
