damper plate noise and replacement of it

Sorry if this issue has already been posted, if so send me a link to it. I am getting some chatter noise from the transmission. I assume it's my damper plate and planning to replace it. I have been told ther is a memo sent out about the noise coming from the transmission ...where can I find the memo ??
I have a 2001 36 MK2

Just type "damper plate" in the search area and you'll find lots of info. I replaced mine at about 1000 hours and found minimal noise improvement because the noise source (n my opinion) was originating from looseness in the plate's aluminum splined hub against the transmission splined shaft. Both the old damper and new damper could be rocked back and forth to the same degree. I my case, both plates were of a polymer, not spring design.
