Adding air conditioning
A slip mate and I have just completed our work on the simultaneous AC installations on our two boats recently discussed on the Catalina and C36 list.  We have completed all but the V-berth vent.  This last vent may be foregone as unneeded or saved for another day. We haven't decided, yet. Tom Senator made a similar decision.

C36 Owner registrations
With over 2100 of C36s built, we've begun the task compiling a datalist of Catalina 36s, and looking for seven bits of information:  Hull number, year of boat, boat name, name of owner(s), home port, region, and email address.  It's free, and it's for members as well as non-members

How owners name their boats
One boat name story started this page, "G.V. Black" owned by Robert Taylor - and it's a great story of how this C36 was named.  The story of G.V. Black's name is the beginning of a new & constantly evolving page - devoted to boat names.

6.  C36IA exclusive 'Printable Checklists' to help you remember all kinds of things...

Preparing to leave the docks/return to docks - this checklist can keep you from a ruined trip because you forgot something important

In summer 2000, C36 maillist members (via Sailnet.net) shared different cleaning tips for a variety of cleaning needs.  Those tips were collected, and are now made available to IC36A members in a printable form

C36 owner Rich Lemieux's Maintenance Guide that will not only help you keep your boat in top shape, and will not only help prevent you from forgetting anything -- it will help you someday resell your boat and gain top dollar.

If you have a story related to sailing & your Catalina 36, submit for publishing on our site.  The pay is a big thanks :o) from us, and the chance to share your story with a worldwide audience of Catalina enthusiasts!
