C36 Owners and Ports

With over 2200 Catalina 36s produced, the C36IA began a project in July 2002 of building a database - so we can have an idea where the C36s are, and better connect all C36 owners. There is no charge for this service, no C36IA membership required, and no obligation.

Mapping is a new feature of the registry. By updating your registration with lat/long coordinates, a pushpin is shown on the map at your location. Click a pin on the map to show registry information; click a pin in the results table (after clicking Go!) to zoom in on a boat's position. It should also be stated that we NEVER submit any of this information for spamming - that this information is not sold or given out to businesses. The purpose of email addresses is only for owners to be able to contact each other - e.g. problems like the cam shaft sleeve that came up in 2002. If, as the owners association, we know the email addresses of owners, we can contact them when recalls or concerns come. Understand that all officers on the C36IA are also C36 owners, and this owners list allows one owner with a problem to be able contact another owner in a similar production year for comparison/help.
